Nice cat Cy !
Yeah Zip, some trouting may be in order, don't need to
buy a road permit after Nov. 15th.
Always a back up plan if too windy for Quinte.

Re: Rapala TTM 20 Light Perch
Bennett's may have it, they had TTM-20s when looking last year. The new reef runner skinnystick 300 appears very similar, Pro Tackle only place with em I think, probably just as good ( if tuned ). Also there's a Matzuo perch crank, that quinte eyes have been gobbling up like gourmet chinese food lat...

Re: Some fish from the last week to liven things up.
No eyes at Quinte yesterday, still bath water at 50 f, got 4 more sheep. Good eyes you have been posting too Netman. I've been learning the Larry more each year and had success near Brockville earlier in the year. Seabass, the smallies are starting to bunch up into their wintering holes now. Find on...

Re: Some fish from the last week to liven things up.
Those are nice fish! I love fighting with large drum. They really get the blood going. What stretch of water were you fishing? I'm all over the place. The walleye and drum from Adolphus. The drum will be slowing down soon and the walleye going on their feedbag soon. Looks like a window tomorrow, I'...

Re: trolling advice
Sea anchors help boats with big motors tremendously for slow trolling.
Might need a good anchor boy though .

Cute fish !
Seen any mud puppies ?
Use to be lots but haven't seen a puppie for a few years.
Well done on the ling, tough to target in open water.

Yes those docks are slippery when wet.
The forecast keeps changing and to the better too, hopefully only a sprinkle in the morning.

Re: Port Hope salmon
Yaked fished thurs night / Friday morning. Nothing during the night, it was warm and don't think many came in shallow, although you'ld see the odd one porpoise. Come sunrise, and could see lots of salmon porpoising further out in the harbour. Felt wonderful peddling among the fish and got action. Wh...

I'll sit out this year, and see what others can do. Unsure if I can talk my 12 yr old girl into a fish. Reeled in a 36" carp too on that Covergence rod that I won last year. Good rod ! http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae142/brentlepine/fish2015/DSCF2032_zpsnsbqbwv9.jpg Good luck and have FUN ...

Re: Port Hope salmon
A Kayak angler buddy of mine got 3 chinnys last Friday NIGHT out in front of there. They are starting but not many caught off the pier yet. The full moon this weekend may get some more going, but expect the major run later like in 2 to 4 weeks after a heavy rain. However a more silver fresh one from...

Online Fishing Tourneys ( iAngler app )
Some kayak anglers are doing an online Bass tourney through iAnglerTournament. http://ianglertournament.com/ Kinda of an experiment and it's going well. We kept the entry at $20 USD, so it's not too serious. For the Greater Ontario Bass Challenge, the angler with the 3 longest bass caught in the mon...
