BIG RIDEAU LEVEL

KJD, the water is probably a bit above normal...NO it IS above normal for this time of the year. Last few years it has been/stayed higher in the Rideau all year and this one is no exception. Checked the water line on the cement dock where I launch and it shows a total drop of about 12 maybe?? 14 inc...

water levels on the Rideau

Dude, I am there tomorrow for the day...look back here later tomorrow or Saturday morning and I'll post for you. As of the long weekend two weeks back the Lower Rideau was still really good and perhaps even a bit high for August first ...the dock at Beveridge Locks is concrete and doesn't lie about ...

Come on guy's those bass are no where near four pounds!!! I caught some last week that could have eaten those and they only weighed 3 3/4 pounds on a scale...which is one thing most of you guys seem to lack when it comes to holding fish out and saying they are bigger than mine. Very true man ...but some reports are based on science and some are not...I'm voting for the science.

MNR (not American) has lots of documented articles that are based on science and not personal beliefs.

Hey Guy's, Cyber is right...the true Blue Walleye was from Lake Erie and has been non-existant since the 1930's...although there are places in Quebec that have some with a blue tinge to them...they are not "blue walleye" :D .
