Something’s weird with the jock. Maybe it’s still too cold? Although the water temperature is 50F. I spent a few hours on it yesterday with an underwater camera and all I saw was a Smallie. Now I hear the perch at black rapids are hitting quite well.

Need a suggestion of where to fish this weekend.

With a week left before walleye open, I’m at a loss of where to go. I first tried Kingston for Browns, then Green and Little green for specs. last week I hit Otter lake for bows. All I have caught so far is a cold.

Now with this weeks Nortel news, I need some good fishing. PLEASE HELP!!!!

I built my own mast and it works great. Not at first though, the trick was using the proper line and having the mast 6 to 7 feet high. Now I have no trouble letting out 150 feet of line.

Last year was my first year running power pro. I ran it on 3 rods. Well late in the season my spool ran dry on my jigging rod ( all them dam snags)and I spooled up with mono. Not only did I lose my sensitivity, all my line started twisting. Power pro dose not twist. And you always know where the bot...

Poole creek right there in stitzville is stocked annually with browns. I have no idea why they stock a 4 ft wide creek but they do.

1999- 2002, 500 each year and 400 last year.

John, if the thought of being 15-20 miles off shore sounds crazy, you should see it when the waves pick up and the salmon are hitting so good you refuse to head in.

I know Poole runs through stitzville ,one crosses bank and the other is in the east end somewhere.

I have never fished them, I was just shocked when I saw them on the stocking lists.

The stocking lists show MNR stocks the Findlay, Poole and Shields Creaks in Ottawa however the Ottawa river it’s self doesn’t show up in the last 5 year’s of stocking Browns.
