Ed at Paddletales sold me a St. Croix rod and I love it. I caught a couple of smallies shore-fishing today. The sensitivity of the rod is about 100% better then my Ugly Stick.
Oh, and the tubes worked great too!

I am having a hard time finding dealers or websites that give pricing on new boat packages. I don't want to go to a dealer yet. I tried emailing one with a request, but they just said to come into the store.

Suggestions?

I'm a non-boater, but someday (maybe when I grow up), Gracie will let me get one.
When it does happen, it would be nice to have a database of information or even a FAQ where I can look up questions I may have. I may even be able to find answers to questions I didn't even know I had!

To me, it doesn't matter what the point system is as long as we all play by the same rules. It's an even playing field.
