Prop Info
I have been looking at props trying to decode which would be good for my outboard. I have a 2001 Mercury optimax 135 DFI. I am completely lost when it comes to props so anything would help I know that there is aluminium and SS but when it comes to pitch and all that stuff I am completely lost.

Couple questions
I was working on the boat today and noticed that when I hooked up my fuse box cables that runs all the switches I noticed that the livewell pump was on and staying on even though the switch was off. I pulled the connection from the main fuse box under the console and it shut off. Could it be just a ...

Minn Kota MKA 15 Universal Transducer kit
So i bought a Minn Kota MKA 15 Universal Trolling motor transducer kit for my maxxum trolling motor. For some reason the people at Minn Kota decided it would be smart to not send instructions with how to use it (or i just can't figure it out because its so easy its hard) has anyone used one before. ...

GPS Power cable cut
So when i was checking on the old boat today I notice that i Must have accidentally gotten my GPS puck wire cut somehow not a full blown cut but just exposed wires. Re: Swim Baits
Brad mostly soft body and paddle tails I think I love to fish in the green stuff and assume that soft body and paddle tails would be best for that. I don't really know much about the types at all but they seem like my kind of bait.

Swim Baits
Have been doing research on swim baits to try this summer but haven't really had much luck in that department. I'm trying to expand my horizons this year and swimbaits has always intrigued me. Haven't been able to find much on them. Just wondering what other people think of swimbaits in our area I k...

Motor shuts off underload
Before the end of the season last year I purchased a used 2001 Merc opti 135. The dealer i took it to ran it on the muffs and checked it out and everything was fine. When I took it out on the water the next weekend it would turn on first turn every time which is good. They told me to let it idle for...

Re: Frog rod
Is the difference for you the fact that the 736 is a heavy and the 735 is a med heavy? Or is there more than just that.

Frog rod
With a certain Wing Fling coming up next weekend I have been throwing around the thought of getting a dedicated frog rod. I know a little bit about rods but not a whole lot. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated or just some advice. For the sake of the post I'll say my budget would be 250...

Re: 2016 Fishing Goals??
My goals for this year are. Learn how to fish a dang crankbait I own enough of them but don't have any clue what to do with them. Actually catch some bass on a jig not just a lucky one. Finally get off my butt and fish a tournament other than the Pro-Am although I always have a blast doing the Pro-A...
