Fish shops in Kingston area...

So, the wife is going out tomorrow morning so I'm thinking I should visit a few fish stores that I haven't been to. I live in CP and am thinking that somewhere around Kingston or Gananoque would be cool to see some different things. Any suggestions on some good bait shop along the way? I'm thinking ...

Great area for everything! I have seen muskies over 50", gar over 54", lots of bass, pike, pickerel, cats, you name it!

I don't get out into that area much now but there is a lot of great fishing and a lot of good water you can cover!

I htink I am, figuratively speaking, in the same boat as Kevin. I've never tried for brown's before but now that I have a boat I am confident in I think this will be the spring. I may also swing by there Scott when I am down that way. I think I have some gear to get me started, I think my next piece...

I think I'll be making a day or two of it. I've never tried for browns or anything like that so it would be quite the experience. I have a few friends who troll for lakers so I don't think it would be too hard to get them to come out for a day after browns....I'm thinking mid-April sometime...

Well Kevin, I think you and I are thinking alike. I jhave been stoked for a while at trying out by Wellington for whatever may be around in the spring, if it's browns, so be it. I have an article somewhere around here about fishing for them in the spring but, anyone can correct me if I am wrong, but...

It's funny that this came up as I have been thinking about trying out there in the spring for anything that might bite. I think salmon and trout are all open out there come mid April and May and have thought a few times about trolling out there with planer boards and whatnot to see if anything could...

That is what I was thinking but to replace the pedestal mount and the base itself it'll run close to $200, maybe even a little more. The seat I'll be moving is actually the third in the cockpit. I mean, not a huge issue, I tend to do a bit more trolling so not having the luxury of a pedestal seat wh...

Boat Seat Mounts question

With all of the fishing shows about to start around here I have one thing I am tryin gto find, but I'm not even sure it exists or how I can solve my problem... I have a 16' walk through boat, 3 seats and 2 casting pedestals. My 3 seats are, I think, 2 3/8" posts and bases but my pedestals are b...

Is it just me or is there a picture with 5 dead small muskies in it? Funny how the thought of them changes depending on where you go. Still a pretty good video though...They sure can find their monster bucks!

Here's the best advice I can give, worked for me....Buy a bigger boat so the wife feels comfortable in it an can relax on the bow with a magazine and read while you have 2 rods in the water, one for her and one for you, and fish like mad! Works great in August on a nice Saturday!
