Use 6 gauge wire and you'll be fine.

You should be able to get cables for it and should run btw 250 and 300 w/o tax for two cables(assuming you have dual rack steering) Not sure what cost is for installation but will be but likely another 2-300. Not that hard to do it yourself!! I just replaced my 2 93 evinrude cables last year and was...

You can stand and flip from a couple of models on the market

Thanks.
Bass Pro carries them so stores like Paddletales should be able to get you one.
Most marine dealers can likely order them as well.

I second Eye Tracker on the dual pro.

I've had mine for 10-15 years with no problems.

If it's Cook's Bay on Simcoe, I wouldn't suggest staying in Orillia. It's at the far end of the lake and about 30 miles away.
Keswick would be good for Cook's bay as it's right there, if you can find accommodations.

Does anyone put anything in their boats to prevent critters from chewing up the electricals? I've been trowing in moth balls....any other suggestions?

I've always used moth balls- full small plastic container -- one at the back and another at the front--never had a problem
