Re: NIce Frog bassin

Super bucket mouth....I love fishing for bass with frogs. Usually I do well, but this summer they haven't charmed the fish for me. I'm doing better with plastics. Your report reminds me to give old Kermit another go

Re: THE OH HELL WHAT A NIGHT REPORT

Fun report! Nice fish too. I had to laugh at the image of you continuing to reel in the fish with the broken-off handle! Too funny!

PS: you owe your wife a night with the kids or dish duty, etc.

Re: Wolfe feeling Sheepish for Long Overdue Post!

Great report Wolfe and as I stated on FB you do not seem to age one bit. I was trying to remember the handles for your boys..thanks for posting them. Devil Loon and Torp...love those boys. Sad to hear Shane has gone to the dark side and has become a poser!! lol. I was in his shoes at that age to th...

Re: Go Small or Go Home

Those are crazy tiny -- every now and then I'll get a micro sized perch , sunfish or bass. Seems the most common tiny aggressor is the perch. I agree that micro pike are cool...they're cute but still insane like the bigger toothies.

Thanks for a fun report.

Re: Wolfe feeling Sheepish for Long Overdue Post!

Thanks RJ. Time just got away from me in a big way! It's been doing that more as the boys are growing up. I'll try to get some wildlife pics up to share soon. Thanks for the encouragement. It's nice to be back. Bass Addict - thx, haha. I've been chatting a bit with Cat via FB. Still impressed with h...

Re: One Slobby PIG Laker!!!

As mentioned on FB I am just blown away by this fish. It's like something legends are created around.

I'll try to stay excited when I reel in another 17" bass. Hahaha!

Re: Wolfe feeling Sheepish for Long Overdue Post!

Brad and 'Bunk - Well, Ty, aka "the Torpedo " is a fishing dynamo and has a natural instinct for it. He is definitely surpassing me and I'm proud of that, though we throw down the gauntlet for each other and have some competitive thing going! Shane, "Devil Loon" has sadly lost hi...

Re: What do YOU need to do to become a better bass angler

Does better mean more weight? Or more numbers? I suppose the answer is that depends, with certain people in my boat it is a numbers kind of day, with other people in the boat it is weight hunting. I think for me better means more weight. I prefer to fish for smallies but I guess I have come to the ...

Re: Wolfe feeling Sheepish for Long Overdue Post!

Thanks, guys. :P Now I have to catch up on some of your reports..... Nice to see you back on FH Wolfe! Awesome smallies! Those dogs are gorgeous…what breed is that on the first pic? Hey Maverick - they are both mixed breeds and rescues. The larger one is older, a half yellow lab, half staffordshire;...

Wolfe feeling Sheepish for Long Overdue Post!

It's been a long time since I've posted a report, but I'm still kicking around and getting out on the water as time allows. The fishing action has been decent and mostly consistent on Wolfe Lake, but sizes for me are generally lackluster with the exception of a few solid fish. Spinnerbaits and large...

Glad you guys got into some beautiful trout! Nice photo of the male northern pintail.....I'm glad to see Bird Addict is still at hi...

I agree it is a pretty good sentence....mostly But... #2 - He is on social assistance ie: welfare. Never the less he collects our ...
