There is 1 boat launch in Casselman and 1 in St Albert. I fish that section of the Nation to and I just love that stretch of the river. Thats where I go ice fishing most of the time. Theres lots of walleye pike perch crappie smallies you name it.

Im just back from fishing at Graham Lake near Brockville. The fishing was a bit slow but I get 2 12 " largies and missed a good size pike that he broke my line because I dint had a wire leader. But I had some good time just for fun fish camping relaxing and spend the weekend away from home. But...

I want to go with you but I dont have a boat and where Taylors Park is located on the Rideau. Anybody ho had room for that tourney could let me know and if I go might get my first muskie, and I need a muskie rod.

Congradulation on your first muskie its a very nice fish and for the weight issue when its your first muskie its not the weight ho count its the lenght. Good for you. I hope to get my first muskie soon to. Looks like the Rideau its a very good river for muskie.

I gogolfer 99 couple of other good spot on the Ottawa river maybe a little far but it worth the ride first the pier at the Wendover boat launch and at the Treadwell marina. These are very good fishing spot for bass pike walleye you name it. And its good acces for handicap persons.

I'l be going fishing on the Rideau Sunday instead of Saturday because Saturday I had to go in a campsite at Morrisburg.
