I'm sure someone might disagree with that, but I've never had much luck in the evening for them. The ling, however, turn on if you're fis...

worry less about falling asleep the night before and concentrate on taking a double shot of 5-hour energy chased with an XL triple triple for the way home... works for me everytime. One word of caution: your right foot tends to get a bit heavy on the way back.

I wouldn't be out on frigid water without a dry suit. They're expensive but can save you life. I too would be interested in ...

As part of the Winterlude festivities they usually do a kids icefishing pond on the Ottawa River at Jacques Cartier Parc in Gatineau. It's free and stocked with over 5000 trout of various sizes and kids get to keep their catch. They supply the rods and they'll even fillet them up for you. Great way ...

if you have a vacuum sealer what a buddy of mine does is any left over shiners get their heads lopped off, salted and put in sealed bags in lots of 6 or 8. That way when he manages to get out for an evening bite he's got all the bait he needs to tip his jigging spoon. They don't get freezer burnt th...

No trout in Haas, Johnny. I'd try Loon Lake, it's just east of Haas and right on the 118 as well. Another easy one to hit would be Paudash Lake right at the 118/28 junction.

Never given much thought about it, but I do know I watched most of Despicable Me on my iPod while out on Muskrat on Saturday. Yes, yes, the fishing was "that" good out there.
