Re: 2013 soft water recap
There's a subtle boat upgrade somewhere around late summer! LOL
Very prolific report! Congrats on the season, you did very well.

Re: First Ice
I am so conflicted.....
Part of me is really happy to see a report about someone givin' er!
The other part of me refuses to accept that winter is here.
... time to put away the patio furniture I guess.

Re: Noisy/rough casting Citica
I bought it last winter, and only started to use it in the spring. After a few uses and the problems, I just set it aside for the season.... It's less crunchy and more friction-like. It's got braid on it, I can accept the noise, but I really do have to wing it hard to get any casting distance, and p...

Noisy/rough casting Citica
I have a Citica that pretty much out of the box never casted smoothly. Just noisy and rough. Any spool tension at all and it's awful, and if I slack it off then the spool slops around and thats no good either. I've opened it up and pulled out the spool, nothing appears out of sorts.... So what are m...

Re: Sunglasses for fishing advice for the rest of us? -/+ $5
i have gone through maybe 4 -5 pairs of the cheap ones you can get at scrappy tire, I kept popping out the lenses.
The last ones I got was a nice pair of solat-bat patriots on discount at Ed's during one of his chicken doos.... have had then a few years now. Price was good.

Re: Fishing Man Cave?
If someone out there has a man cave they're proud of, post a PIC! I have a man-ish cave, but it's not completely mine so it doesn't have the complete testosterone workover. I've suggested the kitchen could be her woman-room... But I do have Head mounts, antique rods & reels, antique tools and ba...

Re: Etiquette question
If you're having trouble getting the boat on/off the trailer that's one thing no impatience there, but if someone is taking stuff from the boat and packing/unpacking the truck while backed in the launch, that's douchbaggery to the n'th degree. Just pull out and do that in the parking lot...

Re: Etiquette question
I was getting a little imaptient waiting for a guy to pull his rig out of the water, but the sound of his skeg dragging along the ground as he pulled away almost made it worthwhile... (forgot to trim his motor up when he pulled into the launch) Leson to learn is even if there is a lineup of people w...

Re: Just The Specks Report!!!
Incredible report Bunk. Very interesting to follow the size change in just one year. And caching the same tag caught multiple times... Just shows their ravenousness ... Without tags one could falsely assume great numbers being the result of a great day of fishing. After reading a few articles on tag...

Mean looking!
Sweet catch!
The "fresh" ones put up a good fight, the ones with one foot in the grave tend to come in like a bunch of wool socks!
