When you say propeller junction... do you mean the exhaust?

If so is it a 2stroke? Where you idling or trolling a lot at the end of the day... could just be extra oil build up driping out of the exhaust.

If its actually coming from the lower end... I say get it fixed.

I say...

Get more power, at least a 35. I have a Lowe Angler 14', not sure of the weight, but I can tell you with only a 25hp on it, it burns a little too much gas and its diffcult to get to plane with 2 full grown men in it. One of them has to sit up front. Spend a little more on the engine in the long run ...

How's the Pike Fishing This Spring?

Hey guys, Have not been out pike fishing since the May long weekend. To be honest that weekend I didn't have much luck. Hit the usual spots with little success. Interested in how you guys are making out on Whitefish, Cranberry or even Dog to see if I should make the cottage trek this weekend. Since ...

These are annoying problems to figure out. Seems you have done lots of trouble shooting already. I'm starting to think that maybe either the socket connections to your tow vehicle is not connecting correctly. Clean the dirt out of both ends of the plug, spray with some brake cleaner and compressed a...

All I suggest is if you are going the NavCan paper maps route, do yourself a favour and go to a Kinko's or printing shop and have them laminated. They role to store. They will last a life time.

Trouthunter you are correct. The Fitovers web site says this too. However I double checked the tags tonight and they don't state it, but I will trust the website write up.

I have the 20$ Fitovers as posted from LeBaron. I have only used them a couple times. No complaints so far. They do get a little heavy on the nose after a while, but until I can save up and get a real pair of RX sunglasses they work just fine. I use the amber ones, little how do I say... feminine lo...

When I tie on the floro leaders I use the Uni knot. Seems to work well. On my spinning gear I find that the eyelets are not an issue (they are larger then casting rods). So basically the know does not get stuck. However I only use like a 3' section of floro and try not to reel past the knot. On my c...

I use the Uni knot for everything. Tieing leaders, Uni Uni when attaching floro leaders directly to braid, tieing lures to line and even tieing the line to the spool.

A great no slip knot never had an issue yet.

Now that is funny. I can actually picture it.

I like the PVC pipe suggestion!!!

Personally I just let it fly then rinse the side of the boat and carpet after.

Yes I have bad aim.

I have had a hard time tracking one of these down in the Toronto area to check them out. Hoping they will get some extra distribution so I can check one out. I don't get to Ottawa region fishing stores to get one from them. I have heard online very positive things about the mag and articles. I don't...

A good tool in the NADA guides. http://www.nadaguides.com/ Select the boats section there is an outboard motor section. From there it goes manufacturer, year, model. Keep in mind the value is US$ and it also usually seems a little high to me. Also the market demand etc all factor in to the pricing a...

Pontoon boats are very open and not bad to fish from.

If wavy water they are not fun, and in wind they sit so high in the water they get blown around a lot.

I have not fished from one enough to provide any indepth opinion.

The type of reel you need has to match the type of rod you purchased.

Did you purchase a casting rod or a spinning rod?
