Round Lake on the Bonnechere system would be a good bet for smallmouth. You're looking at about an hour and twenty min drive from Corry Lake.

This is what it was like at Burritts Rapids on the Rideau.....a couple of days ago

I live on the Rideau as well and water levels are high. Went to have a look at Burritts Rapids yesterday and the flow there was insane.....I've never seen it so high! Best access points are on Blais Rd. I have no idea what the fishing is like there now though...... there's been a lot of construction in the area. I used to fish it a lot in the 80's, they stocked it with 'bows and brookies then.

Glad we pulled the plug when we did......'nuff said!
