finally made it down for the first and last trip to quinte for this hardwater season. we fished shermans on a good 10" of ice. saturday was slow producing one eater and one dink. sunday was better with a few nice fish being landed and great weather. can't wait till next year. cheers husky_jerk1...

mud bay, will do. i know there are some big gators around this lake for sure. how about the craps? i've got into some real slabs in the spring (open water) but haven't found'em through the ice yet...

got out on sunday. we walked on the ice from the conservation area launch in charleston village. 7-8" of good clear ice but only 4-5" in some spots closer to shore. sleds were bombin around all afternoon. we fished depths from 4-16ft with large dead suckers on the tip-ups and panfish jigs ...
