I have done the bungalow trip many times and it is the way to go.
A lot of the owners will let you come in Sunday afternoon and stay until Wednesday noon for the same price as a weekend. They are not as busy during the week and like the business. An extra day is great.

There is just some thing wrong about a man that would rather feed a fire than fish,( splitting wood?) especially when one can do both at the same time. ( cant do that in the summer).
I think a kidnapping is in order, instead of a sack we can stuff him into a floatation suit.

Most ice fishermen hold the rod in the 4 to 5 oclock position over the hole, especially when jigging

I have black rubber discs with a slot to the center and a hole in the center. It fits over the hole. It works well on sunny days and at night it at least keeps the wind off the top of the water.
