Re: Contact info for Baitshop in Waba

The one between Waba and White Lake ( at the curve in the road??) It's called Hillside Bait Farm. Can't see the phone# on the street sign in Google maps though. Let us know if they are opened and hours of operation??

Last time I stopped there though was years ago.

Re: Where can I get Auger blades sharpened

I used to pass my sharpener( they used to be a sponsor of sort for F-H) You could buy those sharpeners at CTC. They had an orange handle on them. I used to gently remove the small burr on the sharpened edge of the blades and they would come back to original (or very close to it) The Speedy Sharp htt...

Not sure, but that may be illegal. Just like doing work on the shoreline without proper permits? Might want to check with MNR

Re: Favourite/Most Productive Baits

My favorite has got to be a swimbait on a weighted hook I always have one of those handy. Love throwing a spinnerbait. Always have a Senko wacky rig setup but I find it boring to fish with that but it is definitely a productive bait.

Re: Who's Excited for Ice Fishing?!!..

Heard on the news this morning that the work was finished 20 hours ahead of schedule. Which is probably the only good thing about this.

Re: zebco 600

I fixed one of my baitcasters with some kind of putty that I bought at Canadian Tire. it comes with 2 sticks of putty of different colors and when you knead them together and then put it on so that the handle is nice and tight. Leave it so it hardens and it'll never move. But my problem wasn't a mis...

Re: Sad news to pass along...

I have never met Frank ( had a few conversation through messages though) but just by looking at the pictures and stories that Marc-Antoine posts here and on Facebook, I know for a fact that he was a great man, great father and most of all great Grand-father to M-A's little boy. He will be missed by ...
