You no longer need the second battery. It's primary use was to power the trolling motor which you no longer have.

Open water at Morrisburg but the dock from just down river is tied up inside the dock at the launch rendering the launch unusable.

Bob: I checked with Garmin and got your answers but I see Firefox has already answered, at least to do with the building of maps. As to the built in maps themselves, they have improved greatly with the purchase by Garmin of Navionics. The old maps left a lot to be desired.
