I'm assuming you are talking about like a little tiller style boat here? Maybe 14-16 feet long?
Because when you get into the larger multi species or bass boats, with the exception of a few, the glass variantes will be more expensive.

Re: Lower Beverly
Fished there a few years ago in a tournament and all of our fish were caught close to shore on a texas rig (3/8oz weight) worm or tube or a 3/8oz or 1/2oz jig with trailer. Other than the time we were fishing Lyndhurst creek, most of the time, we were in 5-15fow and they were tight to shore. like no...

Re: Boat Launch Rideau River
Reevecraig will certainly accommodate your boat. Just know there is no dock there. I typically use the launch at the Taylor Conservation area. It is a little further from the 416 bridge that Pirate cove but the launch is nice, it has a dock and ample parking. Only time I have ever used the pirate co...

Re: transducer rooster tail
Lowering it will more than likely make it worse. Every boat I have seen a transducer installed on has had some sort of rooster tail because of it. you could try raising it a bit which will change the height of the rooster tail but will never eliminate it. The adverse effect would be that you may not...

That Is seriously awesome.
On the plus side, you don't need to spend money on a new prop!

Re: prop pitch
Without seeing where the bolts are that attach the motor to the transom, it is hard to say for sure. If your cavitation plate is 3" under pad, I would say you could raise it a bit but look at where the bolts are coming through the motor at the top of the transom and seem if you are able to rais...

Re: prop pitch
My personal opinion is I don’t think you’ll ever see 30mph out of that boat. You may gain a mile or two but I’ve got a buddy who has a Rebel 1455 with a 40HP fourstroke (I know not the same thing but it’s lighter) and his top speed is about 36kilimoters an hour which is about what you’re getting. Ei...

Still one of my favorite baits. Have not yet caught 2 fish at once on them but they put fish in the boat.

Re: best knot for skirted jigs
I have become accustomed to tying two knots. Uni or Palomar but both of these knots have the tag end towards the mainline. For jigs, I find it more important to use the proper style of head. I have become accustomed to Revenge Flipping Jigs because the line tie is integrated into the head and it pul...

That is great news for the community.
Head pond is a fun place to fish that is totally different than any other place around here.

It’s a trade war Drop, just one wins but retaliation is key to hopefully stopping it before it gets worse.

Re: Rideau River
Oddly enough, I have caught more walleye on w white coloured chatterbait than I have bass on the rideau.
It drives me nuts because all of the walleye I have caught have been decent and I was hoping they were pic worthy bass!
