But nice river system. i'm sure most of you recognize the place. Can we add this carp to my list?I didn't measure it. Want to take a guess? http://www.myfish...

Sparrow lake report(Saturday)
Well was raining Saturday morning. Left around 11:00 A.M. Didn't have a hard time finding it. Road was very bumpy though and they have to do something about the railroad track. Got their at about 1 P.M. Only to find out that there was a pike tournament going on. I was tempted to leave. This other gu...

Really? Was it a shallow flat near a shore line? Thats where I usually find them. I'm just sayin. For me personally. I wont fish under 8FOW in the spring. Unless it is a shallow lake, like Scugog. But thats just me. Shallow Flat with weed growth all over.....shore lines nice and close.... Like some...

And how many bass did we catch there Markus? Zero. The only thing we caught there were Channel cats. I didn't catch anything else until after 9 or 10.(sheephead,suckers,ect.) If Burwell were a prime bass spawning area. I wouldn't fish it. Unless I used Chicken liver or something like that. I know sp...

In the last few years in the spring, I wil not fish less than 8 FOW. If you are fishing a shoreline and it is a shallow flat(under 5 feet), you can bet the bass are spawning there. Its as simple as that. I question that one Johnny....I fished for 7 hours today.....in water no deeper than 4 feet.......

I'd have to say that talking a picture of a OOS bass in my opinion is not a crime. I have caught a few bass this year and have not taken any except one that may be close to 5 lbs. its a beautiful fish and should be appreciated. Yet I condemn people that clearly target bass. I think this guy bass 444...

I too think it is a combination of everything. Mostly water temperature and bait accesability. All fish have their preferred feeding temperature. Most fish prefer to feed in the Shallows. As Markus pointed out. Sometimes all it takes is one hit and the fish turn on. As far as moon fazes? I don't kno...

WOW! Markus. Those are definately some nice cats. How much did you pay for the flight and guide service? Maybe you should make your own show Markus :) I'm sure they must have fought really nice in that deep water and current. What did you use for bait? I have always wanted to fish the Red river for ...

More than Likely I will invest more money and go with a 4x4. But dont 4x4's in older models break down alot??? Well, thanks for the h...

Wow. Seems like we have mixed opinions. It is no doubt that 4x4 is the best. But all older vehicles I looked at, did not have 4x4 operational. I may still have to shop around. But I drove it around and this thing had some decent power...... Plus, if I buy a 4x4 on a older model and it breaks down, w...

Truck Advice
Ok. Guys. I need a truck to pull my boat. i have spotted a 1991 mazda MPV with a rebuilt trani. The thing is in great condition. Its at 200 k though and it is rear wheel drive. Is that good or bad for pulling boats out of the water? What if your back tires get stuck in mud???? The price is right tho...
