It helps alot. I will be using this spinnerbaitIn fairly shallow water within 2 feet of surface. My main concern was how pike bend regular arms on spinnerbaits. I figured with titanium I coud get a couple trips out or 1 spinnerbait.

Not sure about the parts he uses but I know he does good work. No special eyes and I am not sure what bearings he uses. His standard 3/8 titanium spinnerbaits are 10 bucks and a 4-blade is 13 so I figured extra lead and bigger blades around 15. I will be using it for Pike and bass.

Custom Spinnerbait?

What would be a reasonabl price for a custom built Titanium spinnerbat? The one I am getting is a 1 ounce double colorado and will be somewhere around 15 bucks. Is that a reasonable price or am I getting ripped?

thx for the replies guys. I tried filing off the rust but it seemed too deep and some of the hooks would break under pressure so I ended up throwing them out. My new hook box is too small for sillica packs or rust strips but I might try throwing a few rice in it. Thx again guys.

They are rusted too bad and could still be used if not fishing in atournament but I would still like to get the rust off. WhenI was buying cheap hooks I just threw t...

Trapper you just reminded me of a trip I had last year. We were fishing last year for lakers and getting quite a few in the 2-3 pound range when one of our set lines goes off. I run over and set the hook. As soon as I said it feels bigger the line went slack. I thought it was swimming up but I just ...

Good on ya tippy! Nothing worse than people wanting you to do the footwork for them. ask about techniques depths orlures but not locations. ost people would be willing to tel you how they caught them, some on what they caught them but very few will say where they caught them. Can't wait to see the e...
