No you can cast and slowly work it back also drag it along bottom and vertically work it over the fish

A good fast tip with back bone is what your looking for. I'm using a Cumara with no problems

Seeing your a newbie get your self VMC dropshot hooks they come on a swivel to stop line twists... Tie main line to one end( hook point up) and the other end is to set your depth... Oh one last thing I'm using bell sinkers not drop shot some thing but way cheaper in my eyes

That's what I like to see.... I haven't fished lakers in about 8years and that lake was my go to lake.... Loved going for lakers in the am and bass after 11 or I'd set up a rigger for a a smallies lol at about 30 feet or so 3-4 pounder on a 8-10 foot rigger rod = to much fun

It's sad to say but it's cheap vinyl stickers they use.... Friend I'm mine had it happen so he remover it all and new ones made up(he owns his own sign shop) you could do the same

One other way is on a Fin-tec jig head in some deep weed lines = Big Ol' Bass

I've always been interested in the pro am but I've been fishing tournaments for 7 years and feel it's not right,am I wrong about this would sure loved to get in on the seminars

I would think going trough the hull would work and use a ram mount to the kayak for your finder there is a show called kayak bassin and I've seen him with the hole kit and kabootal
