When you come out of the launch at murphys go to the first bay to the right and troll in water around 100ft deep give or take. There is plenty of Lakers in there and you should be fine for boat traffic. I use a bait needle and thread a trebble hook through the minnow with about 18in of floro behind ...

Typically I will run two downriggers and a lead core down the shoot if there is three of us and many times the leadcore is the best set up. Try running 6 to 8 colours of leadcore with 50ft of florocarbon behind it, then put a gang troll on it with a minnow behind it. Troll between 1.1 and 1.4mph dep...

Try using a Lindy rig instead of a bottom bouncer, they do the same thing
and it's a lot less of a hassle to fish with. Plus it has a rattle in it.

I caught one close to six pounds about 3 years ago, I was
running my rigger down 80ft with a J9 when it hit.
