If I,m fishing close to the boat, I like a EWG Gammy, but if I,m in the back of the boat and making long casts I prefer a fine wire hook like a Matzuo.Even with no stretch braids I get a better hook set.

The 6 inch are great for pike around here,anything bigger and the tails get ripped off
