It's a great little spot.

When you go to that area, instead of following the road down towards the bridge, turn right just before there and go down the hill. That's the RCMP campground area. Park your car there and walk out onto the ice!

I heard from a guy that I was sharing a shuttle bus with that they have begun blasting ice all along the Rideau!

Is this true? And does it affect the Long Island area? That's where my buddy and I tend to fish the most, and I'm wondering if it is no longer safe to fish there?
