Re: Kamloops BC HELP!!!
I don't know anyone in Kamloops, but will you have access to a small boat or even a canoe? There are LOADS of lakes around Kamloops where you could get into bows on the fly if you could get away from the shoreline.

Lake Nipissing . . .
Hi everyone, I'm thinking of making a trip up to Nipissing later this year and am looking at the end of August or the beginning of September. Could any of you tell me if that is a decent time of the year to fish the lake? I'd be targeting everything. Pike, Bass, Muskie and Walleye. Basically whateve...

Re: Who's the best in Canada?
I really enjoy watching JP DeRose's show, as I find I learn allot from it and I like his approach. I think each region also has their own "best". The names listed in this thread would definitely be the top guys out here, but back where I grew up in BC, it's mostly fly and salmon/steelhead ...

Mine come off and get stored in the spare bedroom on a nice soft surface, LOL. They also ride in the truck with me on the way home.

Re: Does anyone know what time Murphy's Point opens?
Well, I got out on the Big Rideau this morning and had a pretty good day. We only fished for about 4 hours and while I didn't get any lakers, I did okay working the shorelines for pike. I was marking lots of fish 40-80 feet down in 70-120 FOW but couldn't manage any takes. I ran a bunch of different...

Cool, thanks guys. It sounds like it might be worth it to just grab the NY license and have one less thing to worry about.

St. Lawrence near Prescott and NY License . . .
Hi everyone, I've never been on the St. Lawrence near Prescott and I was just wondering if it would be wise to grab a NY State license if venturing out in that area? Is there enough good water on the Canadian side to focus one's attention on without worrying about it? I'd mainly be looking to get in...

Re: not sure what to say
I've seen giant prawns from the Pacific that were almost a foot long (really tasty too!) and the body of that thing sort of looks like a prawn, but wow, is that ever creepy. Perhaps it was something that someone threw overboard?

Re: Hudson River...Striper Beginnings.
Awesome report RJ. I was born and raised in BC and Stripers are one of the fish I wanted to catch after watching the fishing shows growing up. How did they pull?
