Re: ***Run And Gunning Frozen lakes***

Nice job on the specks man! I couldn't justify walking on the ice we checked out. I may have gotten on the lake in the morning but not off lol. Great report!

Re: Hummingbird 798c si purchase

Hey Kev, I paid $400 for the same unit used without SI 5-6 years ago. I still use it on the boat to this day. It has worked flawless and was the first of my introductions to Humminbird units. Let me know if you get it, and I can guide ya through the set-up sequence I have set mine too. It may need a...

Re: Are there lake trout in the Calabogie Lake

I highly doubt Calabogie lake itself has lakers, it is a walleye and bass lake. I seen a picture of a lake trout caught from the Ottawa River last week so anything is possible :D

There are lake trout lakes in the area though my knowledge on them is very low.

Re: Snowshoe Hare

Bunnies are mostly nocturnal anyway so not seeing many in the daytime isn't unusual, specially if you're being quiet and no dog. I would try the opposite. Don't be quiet, find the messiest areas and brush piles and stomp away while trying to keep an eye on the opposite end of the pile. You need to ...

Anymore pictures of the stockers? They all look like lake trout to me.

Nice fish regardless!
