Very nice! Always a blast to see the youngins hooking into the abundance of cats we have around the city! I was out yesterday very close to that spot, hooked into this beauty 5 pounder and many more!

I tie my own streamers for them, i'm not too picky like RJ said they'll hit just about anything that moves infront of them

Lots of crappie around kars. Haven't found many downstream from manotick but I've had the odd evening where a huge school of slab crappie came around the upper section of long island locks when i used to fish it, but it was a hit and miss most days.
