Made it out yesterday........ caught 3 nice eyes... one pike and many perch ! Poeple all around me where catching nothing but they where fishing with tip-ups and I was the only one with a rod. I guess it was a very slow/quiet for everyone even my self for the number of hours on the ice

Rivère des Outaouais along the 148 was the same yesterday......... extremely slushy but the ice looked ok about 14 inches.

I need some advise on the best ice fishing line that will not freeze up when fishing in cold weather. I'm currently using the Trilene Cold Weather 6lbs and finding it freezing lots when jigging. Any advise would help.

Small tubes........ natural colours. A small jig head toped with a mini minnow should work as well. Dont get me wrong I'm no trout master but I've seen these techniques work.
