Hi Jammer, I have a 55PD Minn kota and have recently bought a deep cycle battery. There is 3 groups to look for the 24, 27 and 31 Deep Cycle. 31 usually has a 225 minutes reserve and gives 130 Amps/Hour. Went out to give the boat a test run yesterday before the weekend...As I was trying out the trolling motor I noticed a Gar pike at the surface. It stood there...what a beauty !

Could someone give me tips on catching Gar, I would like to get a picture of one.

Hi everyone, I would like to get an early start on fishing this year. For me that means catching carp. I have no clue how ! Last year while fishing bass I noticed huge carp in the shallow water. I went so far as trying a Tim bit...no success. Any suggestions for bait and technic would be appreciated...

I use a Clarus with my Curado and had a COMPRE before. What a great combo. If you want to pull that big bass out of the weeds...use Medium heavy...Be carefull with Spiderwire or fireline...these rods will brake...
