Hi, looking for info on the Madawaska river. My in laws are thinking of buying a home on the river and I was wondering what the fishing is like?

So I went to Morris island and saw open water in the distance and decided to turn around. I ended up above the dam in Arnprior. Easy access and ice was deep. No fish but fun to be out on the ice.

I hear from my father in law that is all their catching this year on lake restoule. I'm heading there in a couple of weeks and I will eat them if I catch them. Everyone should try them at least once. You may be surprised.

Looking for places to park close to the Ottawa river in Arnprior. Anyone know of any good spots to park with good/close access to the river?
