Hi John...my thoughts on this... The Hobie pro-anglers are great, but they are heavy. At 100lbs - in my view, you basically need two people to load on top of your car (even this can be a challenge), and depending on where you plan to fish, finding that second person to help out might not be the case...

Hey...I'm in the same boat... :wink: My wife is English (from England) and does the same thing...book, sun and a cup of tea (yes brings a thermos of hot tea on the boat...even in the summer :shock: ) I think if I can get her to hook into a fish... things would change. Where abouts on the Ottawa are ...

We're gonna give the Ottawa a try, @Arnprior, where Madawaska runs into the Ottawa.

There is 10 going so far. I’m considering, but I’ll be the 11th and will have to sleep in the car
