Quick question... why does it take two days to charge up my trolling battery (deep cycle), and it doesn't seem to get fully charged (about 3/4) charger is set at 12V/2A (trickle charge) instead of 12V/10A. could it be the charger, or let me guess...battery is on it's way out. I couldn't agree more...I fished with Grumpy on Sunday at Mississippi Lake. Met him via posting on fish-hawk.net We met at the launch. Fished the lake hard. Wind was terrible (40Km plus?), but we manage to boat about 15 bass, biggest perch of my life (1 lb?) and about 6 pike. I learned some new tact...

Sydenham Lake...haven't heard that name for awhile. I fished it about 10yrs ago. From what I can remember, LM, Smallies and Pike. Possibley Walleye too. Clear water, lots of good shoreline structure and Islands. Get a map as I think there are some shoals that come up. LM/pike in some of the back bay...

I think it is a good idea... I picked up my boat in May...so far have been fishing alone. Rideau River in my backyard, and the Ottawa is not to far away. Good to fish with someone, possibly share expenses, etc. I'm up for partnering up for a day on the water. Need notice as I gotta take care of wife...
