Dead Bait
Is it legal to use dead bait from a grocery store(sardines, mackerel etc.) as bait in Ontario? I've read through the regs. but didn't see much on dead bait, and looked online but also haven't found anything solid one way or the other. Thanks

Live Minnow Bait
Does anyone know the MNR law on catching minnows in a creek (inland) then using them on the St. Lawrence or other inland lakes? I've heard different things from different people and looked at the regs and couldn't find a definitive answer. Thanks.

Quick Question
Is it possible to upgrade a conservation licence that I purchased at the start of this season to a sport licence? Or is it something I will just have to wait until next year to do?

Re: St. Lawrence River Pike/ Walleye
Thanks for the info! I never do much fishing in the spring other then the big Bay of Quinte walleye derby. Been out once so far this year and look forward to much more spring fishing. Just not as familiar with locating fish in the spring.

I don't fish the river all that often so I'm not completely familiar. Also what lures/ set-ups have you guys found that wi...
