Loading Sled DIY
Cheap solution for easy loading of sled when you are alone. Last year I would back up to a snow bank or if 2 people we would pull sled up ramps. Too heavy to load if I was alone so here is what I did to keep costs low and load under 30 seconds. I bought a manual winch from princess auto, removed the...

Re: Shirley's Bay 2022 Ice season
This group is awesome. I have been a member on this site since 2014 and I have to say it is great to see such a great group of anglers giving great advice. I am part of other fishing groups and there is nothing but negativity on almost every post but with this site it really feels like a true fishin...

Re: Shirley's Bay 2022 Ice season
Best night ever at Shirley's. We caught 23 walleye between two guys. We were just past the huts in 11'.7" FOW. We were setup by 2pm and had movement immediately. They started out just looking but at 3pm it all started. We dialed it in and they started biting. Lots of action on minnow heads to s...

Re: Shirley's Bay 2022 Ice season

I lived up with a bun of the permashelters at around 10-12' but couldn't mark or attract anything...then went more shallow... drilled holes and fished all the way down to 8' no marks no fish to the guys having success.. are ...

The shack is a 6' x 8', comes with wood stove, rod holder, fully insulated, 2 bunk beds that fold down, benches fo...

Re: Bay of Quinte update
I was there this week and there were lots of boats on the water and most seemed to be catching. We launched at the community launch and there were no issues with the water levels. Goodluck

Going to the Bay this week and just wondering if anyone had success this weekend with the current conditions. Not looking for spot just don't want to drive 3 hours to be a waist of time. Any update is appreciated.

Salted minnows allowed?
so this year has been very different for me. We lost our best bait shop and best bait shop owners in the Stittsville area late last year and this year I feel lost without them. I now have to get bait at shops that are out of my area so it is kind of a pain in the butt. I plan on just buying a couple...

Where should I fish
I haven't posted much since the hard water season but now that the soft water season is on I am planning some summer trips and need some advice. I have my spring time walleye holes that I visit but once the bass season opens I typically fish those. I am planning a trip second week in June and I woul...

Re: Real or fake?
I would say fake. If in fact that fish was attacking the smaller fish at the surface of the water it would have been moving and there doesn't seem to be any water movement from the big fish. Fake is My vote
