Re: Fishing during outbreak?
Fishing by design can be one of the only sports that can be done in full isolation. The problem is that even though 95% of us can and will use common sense when it comes to social distancing on the boat you will end up with the 5% of people who just don't really give a crap and will try an take adva...

Transducer placement on a minn kota fortrex
I just recently purchased a minn kota fortrex for my boat. It doesn't have the universal transducer on it which didn't matter to me as i will be using an external transducer. My question is how to i line up the transducer on the trolling motor? I had it hooked up to a maxxum before but didn't really...

Looking for a bait
Years ago Berkley made a Pulse worm. I know they are discontinued and have been for many years. Was just wondering if anyone knows someone or a company that makes something just like it. I know its a stretch but figured I'd ask. I loved those baits when they were being made and caught lots of fish o...

Trim wiring question
I have a 2001 Merc 135 DFI that had an annoying problem happen while I was on vacation. The trim started intermittently working it wouldn't work if i was fishing using the trolling motor but when I was use the outboard it would trim fine. When I took it out of the water to look at it i thought it mi...

White lake
Does anyone know if there is a tournament on white lake tomorrow. Was thinking of heading that direction. If there is than I’ll go somewhere else.

Long weekend Fishing
Seen lots of posts about awesome fishing this past weekend and figured I would contribute as well. I took advantage of the weather on Sunday and headed out for a few hours in chase of some Pike, Walleye, and panfish. The wind was horrendous specially when I was in just a little aluminum but none the...

Re: Long Weekend
Nice catch! I'm surprised that there are still fish that big in that lake as I know exactly where you are fishing and have wondered if there are any big fish left in that lake. Glad there are still some congrats on the PB.

Re: New techniques you want to try
Jigs for me have always infuriated me. Part of the reason may be that I just switch to a Texas rig rather quickly because I know I can catch fish on it much easier. I have had success fishing a jig but most of the time I fish it gets stuck in wood or full of weeds and I put it away. I always buy mor...

Re: Constant beep alarm on throttle
Good new is that it was nothing serious. All it was was a couple connectors that hooked up to different sensors came unplugged. Probably happened when i took the cowling off to bleed the air out of the onboard oil tank. Thankfully nothing worse and was only out of the water for 3 hours.

Re: Constant beep alarm on throttle
Luckily ive got 2 marinas that i trust to not waste my time and money i will make sure i mention the throttle control sensor because like you said that is probably the cause of the issue. They couldn't see it today since it has been a constant downpour today and they dont want to waste my money buy ...

Constant beep alarm on throttle
I have a very interesting issue going on with my outboard right now (2001 Merc 135 DFI about 120 hours). I have been using it since the start of walleye season in may and up until now no issues at all. Yesterday I was fishing and when i was running down the lake the 4 beep oil low alarm sounded, no ...

Re: Bass tournament anglers an opportunity is here.....
I have participated in 3 RBT Pro Ams so far and have more than enjoyed my time fishing them not only learning lots but I find it a good way to test the waters and see if i can handle a full day in the bleeping hot sun. Like most people on here it just isn't in the cards right now for me to do it for...

Looking for some info
I'm looking at purchasing a new (used) boat. I have found a potential boat and might be taking a look at it this weekend. It is a 1999 Procraft 20 ft with a 1999 Mercury 200 EFI not Opti or DFI. I know that before buying it is good to do a water test, compression test, leakdown etc. just wanted to k...
