Glad to hear nothing was missing . We always hope our hunt camp survives the year without any problems. Worst that has happened is they burn all the dry firewaood stored indoors without replacing it . We don't lock the doors #1 it will just make them think something valuble is inside #2 ther eis not...

Not exactly cheap but the vinyl deck covering ( home depot) works great .The glue is the expensive part .
Washes up easily , easy to install and hooks don't get caught in it .

Mark me down as a definate maybe .
Work will be taking me into Ottawa 2-3 times a month .

We REALLY need an early spring this year

Fished more hardwater than ever this year but doesn't even come close to what will be here soon.

Flew to Ottawa and back today ..not much open water except on rivers.

I heard of garlic powder and course salt mixed together and kept on board to 'dip' your plastics in as a quick recharge.
Might give it a try .

used the same set up for drift fishing in the old boat and will most likely do the same for the new one.

we have caught on almost everything . Plastics while bass fishing , small micro jigs while ice fishing ( not actually caught more like 'WHOA...SNAP ...aaawww !)

In the spring I think the Pike will hit almost anything .
I have read in the past about a Jig and Pig set up using a bit of worm instead of 'pig'.
