Good Haul Chevy.
Guess they weren't from the Ottawa nor the the Larry.
I find Ottawa river perch mainly stunty and wormy, but Larry perch are succulent and a treat like a chubby girl.

Re: Redhorse
The upper Tay is a tough fish probably cause of the ultra clear water and the explosion of the Osprey population, been skunked on the Tay too often, probably better off to fish right in Perth, but it fells a bit conspicuous there. :D Creeks are even skinny for a kayak, here's a silver from the Carp ...

Re: Redhorse

Re: Hardwater Fun
Solid report RD, that's a whole mess of fish!. Don't see too many lampreys and fallfish ice fishing. I did Huff's for my first time Feb. 1st and there wasn't as much snow as everyone was saying, sure quads were getting stuck some, caught 2 walleye which was good compared to others that day. Nice to ...

TV Fishing shows with local content.
Wow, anyone else been impressed with the fishing shows on TV with local content lately ? Saw Owen Nolan's "Sportsman 360TV " BOQ episode, pretty cool, but you don't need a big boat for that. ;) Ashley Rae's "Captured" BOQ episode too showed some ice fishing, they even took helico...

Re: Kayak BofQ day
Good one Flyfisher ! A bit jealous, it took me 3 attempts 2 years ago to get a Reach fall eye, and now this year 2 yakers get good ones on their first attempt ! Flyfisher is cunning in knowing what's going on below. Yes Steve we are careful, its actually safer out there in a SOT kayak than say a 14'...

Nice eyes , and a wicked laker.
You really have me drooling over that laker, nice catch !
Really enjoyed the trip with you last year . You seem to do well
with the surprise bonus fish.
Thought I saw you out near Lake Ontario, you recognized my piece of plastic ?
