Do it! its a beauty lake. I've caught smallies from shore there before and allegedly there are nice weedlines all around the lake. Its one lake I've never had a boat in before but its certainly on my bucket list. Also please note, If you choose the art show over fishing you'll need to hand over your...

Check this out. http://www.quintefishing.com/cottagerentals.htm THe walleyes bite all year on the Bay, so there's no "best" time. You've got a pretty good timeline (the next few weeks) to have some water to yourselves though, kids are back at school and the pre-ice trolling gongshow on Ado...

It seems everywhere I turn this day and age there is ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY. It's always someone else's fault...excuses...this, that, or another thing. Please don't teach our next generation this mindset. It's hard enough battling through this current world the way the baby boomers have made it for us....

In my world a bass is a bass is a bass. But the self fulfillment factor from catching a 10lb'er out of a public access lake would be MUCH higher than landing one from someone's stocked private pond. A similar comparison would be hunting on a fenced-in oufitter/deer farm versus taking your own stuff ...

This year i played with heat shrink tubing, seems beauty. Pick a colour, cut your length, slide it on easily, heat it and go! I found the o-rings, on a good (read: missed fish) hookset would still cut through the bait and lose it/effect action. http://www.smartanglers.com/main/sites/default/files/P1...

From the pics, it looks like it sat overnight on the rocks through a storm, the damage doesn't appear to be in line with the carpeted trailer bunks. If carpet did that much damage my knees I'd be walking around like Cotton Hill. I'd say put some gray marine-tex http://www.marinetex.com/marinetexepox...
