Re: Calcutta, Curado, Abu Revo, Daiwa Lexa
I have a Curado, Nice reel, I find it a little on the small side for Musky reel for larger baits. but for tossing smaller bucktails and spinnerbaits its perfect I also use a Calcutta 400. Love this reel. but like you said it's not a lefty I'm currently looking at getting the Lexa 400. I've heard goo...

Enemies or friends there some things you just don't say or do. There is a classy way to dish it out and than there is your way. Rig...

Re: Boat lighting
Night fishing or early morning fishing is a blast. Nothing better than slow rollin a prop bait and listening to fish explode on it in the darkness. Lights Look good, but personally i prefer as little light as possible in boat when fishing at night. I like to allow my eyes to adjust to the darkness. ...

WOW!!! I can see this post going south quickly. It's sad when a guys have a bad weekend fishing and a post like this surfaces. I think everyone has had bad days on the water. I'm in no place to judge their fishing ability, seeing as they beat me on my own water. I know Marc and Frank personally and ...

Re: new boat advice...kind of
I fish the Rideau weekly and love it! Fishing is great once you learn to deal with the weeds. Lots of pike, Musky and largemouth and lately for some reason I've been catching lots of smallmouth and big walleye. You can really get away with using a handful of lures on the water and catch plenty of qu...

Re: mystery tackle box
I like the concept, but i don't ever see my self subscribing. I'm pretty picky when it comes to my lure color selection
I think it would make a great gift to kid or someone just starting off

Re: Tackle box!!(:
I personally like to store my soft plastics in hard cases. I haven't had any melting or bleeding issues.....yet. I also keep them organized by lure type and species. (musky bass and pike). Over time i realized i have confidence in certain bait colors, so my selections are usually limited to 2 or 3 c...

Re: Umbrella Rig
I used it a few times last year and caught some pike but i'd rather toss out a spinnerbait, if you plan to use it know that your only allowed to use 4 hooks on it. Unless they changed the ruling, I thought it was 3 hooks in Ontario? 4 hooks allowed http://www.mnr.gov.on.ca/en/Business/LetsFish/2Col...
