Re: What Ice Fishing Suit

I bought an Arctic Armor suit when they first came out. Very light, warm, and they float. My only complaint was when I fished in the rain or heavy snow it didn't keep me dry. I bought a Striker Predator two years ago and it has been great so far. Arctic Armor may have changed the design of their jac...

Re: Ice Fishing Float Suit (Bib/Jacket Combo) Help

I have the Striker Predator jacket, you won't be disappointed with it.I already had a flower bib so I can't comment on them. I got mine in the States though so if you can find them in Canada it would be worth it.

Re: Crow Lake (next to Bob's Lake) - decent bass fishing?

I was on Crowe lake for a week 2 summers ago. I managed to get some lakers to go but couldn't find any decent sized bass. The weedbeds look awesome but only produced dink largemouth, they did have some big crappie in them though! I started to go into Bob's lake through the creek and did much better ...

Re: Fishing Crotch lake ...

I haven't fished crotch lake before but I fished several other lakes in that area. Wacky rigged senkos always worked well for me. I look for deep weed beds or trees in the water on the shoreline.

Re: Baie Clement

I haven't fished it in several years but I can tell you it is shallow. I don't think you would find anything deeper than 10-12' and the shoreline is shallow with stumps in many areas.

Re: Lake Champlain

I go every spring to the North end of the lake and fish the Vermont islands. We stay at Henry's sportsman cottages and have stayed at Holiday Harbour Lodge. Both have cabins with full kitchens so you can cook your own meals. They also have docking facilities with power to your dock so you can charge...

They also put a percentage on the change of rain so you can use that to help make your decision.
