Re: summer browns in warm water?

there are a couple places I fish for them as well. Depth of water this time of year doesn't seem to be the issue. its the temp that matters most. I fish for them in the one spot where they tend to hang out in cool shaded areas where the bank is undercut.

My brother recently received a notice of a drop in horse power rating for his boat. if you are not the original owner you may not get this notice if it happens. The horse power ratings are not in regards to power but in relation to engine weight. A...

Re: Advice sought

Trolling rods have a lot of back bone if you choose the right one. just get a 9ft MH and you'll be good. You'll need some weight to get down and even a $200 FF will detect a jig if you have a dual beam transducer.

Re: Musky in the Ottawa river near chalk river

Despite what people may think, they are there. There is very low numbers though. There is muskie is the Petawawa River so it only stands to reason, that since it flows into the Ottawa River that they must exist in that section.

Re: Lake O open seats

yeah, I'm surprised as well. A wellington trip would be about $65 a person. but as far as bass fishing from a 22ft cuddy? it isn't going to happen, lol. hopefully I'll get some interest yet 8)

just to make things clear. The charge is only to park, the launch is free to use because it is public.
