Re: Looking for a nice pan fish spot for my son's first time

You can fish it from shore or even off the old trestle that is now the trail bridge. I have even seen people bring their ...

Re: $100 guided trip - Little Quinte

Yan and I might be diametrically opposed on the issue of the fish sanctuary on the nation but one thing I will completely support him on is this: as "dirty" as the water is, none of the pollutants save mercury gets into the flesh of the fish. They pass through the digestive track completel...

Re: Fish Sanctuary/Regs Near Wendover Discussion

Hahaha, doh, not the way I thought it was. Any how, the point I was making is that the regulation indicates a point on the north side of the fourth concession. It is referring to the property lines, not the road. In this case they are one on the same hahaha. Wow. Man excuse me while I uncross my eye...

Re: Fish Sanctuary/Regs Near Wendover Discussion

Re: Fish Sanctuary/Regs Near Wendover Discussion

It says the fourth concession not the concession road 4. The roads run east west on the south side of the concession boundary. For example I live on concession 6 but my property is on the fifth concession. So the physical landmark for the boundary would be concession road 5.

Re: Fish Sanctuary/Regs Near Wendover Discussion

I can see that this thread got started and deleted from the original one so I will say this, don't let anybody charge $100 to fish in a fish sanctuary.

Re: $100 guided trip - Little Quinte

Just what I was thinking Hollywood, why would you specifically target big walleyes when you know that 40cm and up have to go back in? Chances are in that spot that the walleyes that are going to be caught will be big females getting ready to head to their spawning grounds. Actually, I think it's a ...

Re: Walleye bay frustration

Find a shallow ledge by the point and fish there. Like 4 feet shallow. When your comfort zone doesn't work, do something different. Try banging a jigging wrap or puppet minnow off the ice in the hole next to a hole with a live minnow.....
