Re: bait caster

I still think I can cast farther with my spinning reel, but I guess I need practice Practice is the key they take a bit to get use to but they are handy for some fishing applications where spinning reels just dont have the winching power. fast-tach

Anyone use the Stringease Fast-tach? I started using them for icefishing after having a snap open up on me and I have been very impressed. Wonder if anyone has had good or bad experience with them in ice or open water?

it has rollers and is well balanced I think the problem is the location of the winch, instead of the strap being level it points down a bit which allows the boat to bounce a bit on the road I am thinking with the bow roller the boat will sit up more which will level out the winch strap.

bow roller vs bow stopper

Is there any difference btw using a bow roller or the V shaped stopper. I current have the V shaped stopper and my boat moves around a bit while driving and I am think with the roller the bow may come up a bit and eliminate the problem.
