Thanks guys! Ya, it was a heck of a summer. I didn't even hit the golf course once! Spent every available few hours fishing....

Was up there once.

In a full week I caught 6 bass, only 2 over 2lbs. A 5 lb pike, and a baby Walleye. It's beautiful up there though. Water is crystal clear.

It really didn't feel like a 'fall day at WL' this weekend though! I just fished like I would any summer day. I never venture into bays much, I tend to stay in 10-15 ft of water.

How in the world do you unhook an eel? With caution?

I usually do great mid-summer, then later in the year, all the bass go deeper(?) and all I catch are a few Pike...

Any advice? Go to deeper parts of the lake, and fish the bottom?
