Not sure what my parents would be mad at more, watering their lawn or leaving a bunch of holes in their backyard.... If you're around Brantford for the next couple of days we should get some rain. Maybe try and collect some in buckets or pick some water out of the Grand, if you are looking to save o...

I'm with you Big Bass 444..... If it's a private lake, it should be accessed once or twice out of respect. Vis-a-vis, I've read four or five reports alone this season out of one member going on about this mysterious Lake X and its abundance of General Sherman type fish. Best to not even post a photo...

Sinking line and a fly rod is the way to go. I've got "foot long" bows with the hook sizes that you've mentioned. Though I try to be careful cause a big hook can do a lot of damage.... Be sure to take the name of that lake with you to the grave my friend. It sounds like a cool spot you've ...

Mr. Walleye, I'd use a hook, rod and reel.....kidding. Flies buddy! Nymphs, larvae, emergers, and spinners. Wooly buggers and muddlers if you're getting tired of catching tiny little guys. Saw your website and took your survey. The site looks really cool. You're really starting to make a name for yo...

Been on Cecebe a couple times near Magnetawan. Let's just say you'll enjoy the scenery. I remeber catching lots of big perch, rock bass, small smallmouth, small pike and bullheads. Hook and worm will do the trick there.

Hi Joco, I'm a die hard fly fisherman. I don't post a lot on hear b/c there's not a lot of traffic. Sounds to me like you're getting back into the fly game. Good for you. Like you I had to rebuy a lot of my tying material. Ever fly fish out of one of your yaks? Sounds difficult. Under two weeks to t...

I'd bet snakes work wherever there's an abundance of snakes for fish to forage on. If they're not usual forage than my guess would be don't buy em. It'd be nice to get a sample (colours and sizes) or two to chuck to your favorite lilly pad patch. Then compare it to a 10" berkely power worm or y...

Thank you for posting this vid'. That fish by not making a full recovery has done a lot more for us, than it would've by swiming off. Now I think a video featuring safe/humane releases and livewell minnow segragation to the tune of "Keep em' Separated", would be good for you to do! A lot o...

Hey T-dot, I'd definitely try Long Point (ca. 2 hrs from downtown T.O). But you should try and keep it to the weekdays as there's tons of boat traffic there. If you decide to go there's many great spots for big largies in the inner bay (marsh's etc.), plus just a short way out from the many marinas ...
