Looks like a chain Pickerel also called a Grass pike. Look very close to a small pike slightly different markings.

Ontario Outdoors had an article on this last year.

I just replaced the tip with another tip and the problem solved.
I have to say though I would not buy another Ugly Stick it is all tip. It does not bend much in the middle.

I prefer my South Bend Black Beauty any day.
