Are you by chance renting shacks from White Lake Marina? If so they appear to be sitting in 8-12' over a thick weed mat bottom. I didn't do very well from their shacks the one time I was there last year. Most likely catch will be perch, OOS bass with the odd pike. For tackle a Light or ML action ice...

Nice to hear from you. nice dog, Not sure if I should ask, Chester?? Had let him go 1 Jun. Once we found out it was in his blood, not his bone the result was a forgone conclusion. Had we known what we were dealing with we might have made a different decision. But the surgery bought us some quality ...

A report...at last

Time has become something of a precious resource, and this whole work thing is really starting to interfere with my fishing career, so I haven't been out all that much. I started the season exploring some new water with mixed results and breaking in my new wing man, or wing girl to be more precise, ...

I've had that happen with Bass Pro online: used an 100 e-gift card to buy 2 x $25 reels, within 6hrs received an email that I owed an additional $22 (making it $122 total). I cancelled it, but they still charged my e-card. Cabelas has a Canadian online outlet www.cabelas.ca. If you order from there ...

Gotta love Constance!!! Crappie are very spotty there. Although you can't categorically rule out an occassional walleye coming up the creek from the Ottawa they aren't in Constance Lk. The rumours that they are are most likely confusion between Constance Lk and nearby Constance Bay.

Re: Weekend Report - January 8th and 9th - No Pics :(

Still no luck spotting fish with the Marcum. What am I doing wrong? I see my jig but no fish but the fish are bitting all over. They may be super aggressive and coming in too fast especially with the numbers you're getting - I've had that happen most often with pike. One second the screen is clear ...

Re: Crappie Off The List

IOddly enough, even with all the fish I was marking, the bite was sort of slow.... Something I learned on this trip out... A flasher can help you mark fish but that doesn't mean they'll bite. Congrats on the crappie. Something I noticed when using the Camera and flasher simultaneously is that some ...

Unless something has changed from last year, there is no charge for parking along Bayview Ave in Constance Bay...There is a $5.00 charge to park at Contance Lake Lodge (Constance Lake Rd).

I tape mine to the telescoping extension pole. No spin and you can positively control where the camera points. I tape it about 18-24" above the end of the pole and drill a hole outside the shack about 6-8' away from the jigs and run the cable inside. No close-ups but it seems to be the best ove...

Creative - but I doubt the that'll fool the fish - they'll still know its you and flip you the bird.
