Has anyone ever caught Ling in the St. Lawrence?

Hello guys, I'm heading up to Sharbot Lake camping this week I have never fished this area and was wondering if anybody has any advise. I will have a canoe and a portable fish finder at my disposal. Any tips would be greatly apreaciated thanks.

Hey guys just a quick update. I went out for 3 hours today on the St. Lawarance for perch managed 13 kept 8 for super. The bigest were a couple 12 inche jumbos smallest 6 "all in all a good day. I forgot my camera so the picture isnt the best they are in the sink just before getting cleaned rea...

Hey guys just wondering when you head down to the Bay of Quinte to do some ice fishing where is the best public acess point. I do have a snow machine so I am mobile once on the ice. Im planning a trip there in a month or so and I dont have a cue where to head! Thanks,

I also have the ice 35 it is a great machine the fiberoptics are very sharp and it seems to do a excellent job. In 20 feet of water you can easily tell if you still have a minnow on you jig. Overall Iam very pleased with it.
