c5- we had the same thing up around ompah this weekend, lots of slush, some place over a foot...........hard on the gear, my machines are at a buddys shop right now thawing out......nice weather tho........

i love it, it was -23 when we got on he ice , with a small heater in it , we were fine , it goes up and down fine in the cold, can put a ton of stuff in it. the cover was extra but worth it.

awesome, i wish i saw you guys out there, we have been out 3 times this week, we saw the fish tv guys at the ramp on thursday nite , they were filming a show.....we moved a long way west today in the am, Brrrrrrrr it was a cold morning but worth it, we put 7 on the ice with the big one being 8.7 lbs...

i was wondering do any off you guys know how to record directly from the aqua view, what kind of recording device , patch cord etc....

i am on the wire with buying a flasher, the wife will kill me :shock: , cus i purchased a clam for xmas for myself , santa was good this year :D , i have an aqua view and a portable lcd but down here, the guys on quinte swear by the flashers, so i guess im asking in your opinion it helped you catch ...

yer right C5....we were on dog on sat for crappie......some places 6-7" some around 4 ".............

i myself would wait another week, it is probably safe closer to shore but i like to move around out there.......

i use mine mostly for looking at the structure, but today on hay bay the wife looked thru it all day and it really got her more hook ups... the perch were on fire...on eyes thou.......we got 25 nice perch. i find a lot of lakes are too cloudy to see very far, and like gord said the current is a real...

good black ice, but be carefull.......there was a couple of permenant shack out there already.......these guys know the ice down there thou(the locals).
