Just a question. With the crappy weather ahead for tomorrow and saturday, should we just cancel our trip on sunday?

Thanks yeah, I assumed that as long as we have proof of the species that we consumed. And of course not leave a mess. Should make for a great day out on the ice! that is if we catch some fish, I might bring some sausages just in case the fish are not biting.

I have been out ice-fishing on silver lake a couple of times, my girlfriend caught a nice Laker two years ago through the ice. Sure it will lower catch rates, but survival rates will increase, even if just a little. And that will help our fish populations rise!

The sad part is that the Beluga Sturgeon from the Caspian Sea get even larger! However, they produced the prized caviar..and are an endangered species!

Imagine killing a 200 year old fish, just for some caviar!!

Man I am totally down, but like some of the other people have mentioned. Safety is my #1 concern. I am not going to go on the ice with people who do not have alot of experience on the bay. I stay true to the YUM brand, love it. I used to be a hardcore Berkeley Powerbait dude...but now I have switched to YUM. They just seem to work better, and last longer.

Pray for high water lol. I know exactly what patch you are talking about, and yes it is very shallow when the water is high. When it is low, you can walk across the river at that section!
