Thanks yeah, I assumed that as long as we have proof of the species that we consumed. And of course not leave a mess. Should make for a great day out on the ice! that is if we catch some fish, I might bring some sausages just in case the fish are not biting.

Ice fishing on Silver Lake.

I have been out ice-fishing on silver lake a couple of times, my girlfriend caught a nice Laker two years ago through the ice. Me and some guys from work are planning an ice fishing trip to silver lake, January 2nd. I am just wondering if anyone is willing to part ways with a little advice, or tips ...

Why the heck are we up in arms about lead in paint? Or why did we ban lead in gasoline?

So why are we sticking up for lead fishing weights? We all talk the big talk on conservation, but when it comes to action, no one is to be found!?

I enjoy listening to lowell green, to bad I missed that show! Personally, I am in full support of a ban on bards!

Sure it will lower catch rates, but survival rates will increase, even if just a little. And that will help our fish populations rise!

The sad part is that the Beluga Sturgeon from the Caspian Sea get even larger! However, they produced the prized caviar..and are an endangered species!

Imagine killing a 200 year old fish, just for some caviar!!

Man I am totally down, but like some of the other people have mentioned. Safety is my #1 concern. I am not going to go on the ice with people who do not have alot of experience on the bay. Not knocking you James, I would love to go out to quinte. But I would rather pay a guide, or at least know that...

I stay true to the YUM brand, love it. I used to be a hardcore Berkeley Powerbait dude...but now I have switched to YUM. They just seem to work better, and last longer.

Pray for high water lol. I know exactly what patch you are talking about, and yes it is very shallow when the water is high. When it is low, you can walk across the river at that section!

Your taking your like in your hands revealing spots on here from what I have read in the past month. LOL! I have been in that area once. If I recall it was shallow with some big rocks. Am I wrong? The owner of the park said to fish there also. I will have to try again. Since we are sharing, I will ...
